Weekly Update

GCN Family,

This is the week that changed the course of history. Through the cross and resurrection of Jesus, we have hope, forgiveness of sins, and life to the full. My encouragement today: Spend time each day this week entering into the story. Check out the graphic for a scripture reading guide that will help you follow the life of Jesus during Holy Week. The beautiful thing is that He invites us into His story!

I hope you’ll…

• Invite families and individuals to join you this Sunday for Easter! Our Kids Celebration (Egg Hunt, Prizes, and Fun) starts at 9:30, and then the worship service is at 10:30. Plus, lots of reasons to stick around and connect after that time of worship together. Plus, we’re celebrating baptisms this Sunday. CLICK HERE and share the link with friends.
• Join us for our Good Friday Night of Prayer. There is no resurrection without crucifixion. I find that, gathering with the body of Christ to somberly enter into this dark part of the story makes Resurrection Sunday so much sweeter! 7pm in the Sanctuary.
• Pray for others:
  • Those families who are impacted by the tragic collapse of the Key Bridge yesterday
  • The people in our own neighborhoods who are hurting in many different ways
  • Our schools, our local and county leaders, our national leaders
  • For that person or people who are on your heart who do not yet have a relationship with Christ
