Weekly Update

GCN Family,

You are creative! How do we know this? Because you have been created in the Image of God. And God, by definition, is creative!

Filled with the Holy Spirit, you are empowered to creatively pray for your neighborhood, creatively lead people to Jesus, creatively solve problems, and creatively work for peace and healing and salvation all around you.

That was the message from this past Sunday. Check out Pastor Lauren’s message here.

A FEW BIG THINGS:

1. This Sunday is FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY. This Sunday is all about giving above and beyond our regular Tithes and Offerings to give towards missions all around the world. Here are just a few ways that your Faith Promise giving is used:

• Scholarships for students at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary,
• Supporting Brian and Rina Ruark, missionaries in Honduras
• Supporting Jennifer Moore, missionary to North Macedonia
• Stewartown Summer Camp funding
• And more!

2. Here’s what will happen on Faith Promise Sunday: Missionaries, Jay and Teanna Sunberg, will be sharing what God is doing through their ministry. Then, we’ll share in an all-church potluck lunch! Bring your favorite international dish to share!

3. Red Cross Blood Drive. If you are able to commit to donating blood at an upcoming event at GCN, CLICK HERE to respond. If you have any questions, contact the GCN coordinator for this, Lisa Ross. RossLisak@yahoo.com .

4. Check out the ANNOUNCEMENTS page on our website for much more. Such as: Turkey Dinner on November 22nd and the All-Church Leader election, also on November 22nd.

Much Love,

Pastor Brian
