Movie night for men and teens: Courageous. Starting at 6:30 p.m., we'll have dinner followed by the movie. Cost is $10 per person. Everyone's welcome. Invite your friends, neighbors, and family. Due to ongoing construction, this event will be at the Mother of God Church, 20501 Goshen Road

30 Hour Famine Be a part of this wonderful event which raises money for children in Malawi who are suffering from starvation. The goal is for each student to raise $30 by the date of the 30 Hour Famine event. We will then go 30 Hours without food (to experience solidarity with those who go much longer than 30 hours with no food), and will fill that time together with worship, games, and serving others. This is an overnight event, and all students will need to complete a Medical Release form to participate. Let Pastor Brian know if you plan to attend. |

| 18 | Join us for our "almost famous" Fried Turkey Thanksgiving Feast! Sunday November 20 after second service (noon-ish). We will provide the Fried Turkey, Honey Glazed Ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, gravy and home-made cranberry sauce. Our church chefs (that's you!) can bring salads, desserts, or your favorite sweet potato dish. Please invite friends and family--any faith or no faith--all are welcome! |
| 22 | The Annual Turkey Bowl: Games are from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. (Arrive about 30 minutes early if you can help set up the fields.) Join us for a game of touch football at Milton M. Kaufmann Park, 9607 Wightman Road (about a mile from GCN) (map). We'll have up to three games depending on how many show up. This is open to old and young, boys and girls, fast and slow, men and women. Look forward to seeing you there! |
